Altair Semi Clears $18 Million Series B Funding

HOD HASHARON, ISRAEL -- Semiconductor company Altair Semiconductor announced the close of its second round of venture capital financing totaling $18 million.

Altair is developing low-power, small footprint and high performance mobile WiMAX semiconductors that provide broadband bandwidth to battery-operated handsets and devices.

Investors included lead Bessemer Venture Partners and previous investors BRM Capital, Giza Venture Capital and Jerusalem Venture Partners.
